Project launch

 National Museum, Bloemfontein Natal Museum, Pietermaritzburg

The launch of the Manual of Afrotropical Diptera project took place as the last session of the symposium ‘Advances in Afrotropical Dipterology’ at the 7th International Congress of Dipterology, San Jose, Costa Rica, on August 9, 2010.

The launch was attended by about 190 delegates and was followed by a wine reception sponsored by E. Oppen-heimer & Son, South Africa.
